In this interview with Countess Simonetta Brandolini d’Adda, president of Friends of Florence, we discussed the current restoration of Michelangelo's last work, the Pieta', and the major restoration projects undertaken by the Foundation, such as the recently inaugurated Fra Angelico Room in the Museo San Marco, but also Botticelli Rooms and the Tribuna in the Uffizi, Michelangelo’s David and Prisoners in the Accademia and the Gates of Paradise by Ghiberti. Simonetta also shared the future plans of the Foundation, "when the world returns to normal."

For their dedication to the city, Simonetta and Friends of Florence were awarded the Gold Florin, Florence's highest honor.
