famous Gates of Paradise from their creation for Florence’s Baptistery in the fifteenth

century through their modern restoration. My guest, Renaissance scholar and

textbook author Gary Radke, organized an unprecedented exhibition of Ghiberti’s

panels in the United States before the doors were permanently reinstalled in Florence’s
